Overview
You may suspect that a deployed agent is not starting after the reboot of the target machine.
Information
The EndPointSecurity Agents start automatically. Please view the image below for an example screenshot of an instance found in the log where the agent successfully started on the target machine.
To verify that the agent starts on the target machine, please do the following:
- Open the
C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\EndPointSecurity 6 Agent\DebugLogs\esecservice.csv
file:- Execute
Ctrl
+F
and search for the value [START] on your text editor (or Microsoft Excel).
- Execute
- Open the Windows Task Manager on the agent's (or target) machine
- Scroll to the Background Processes section to find the GFI EndPointSecurity Agent Service
- Scroll to the Background Processes section to find the GFI EndPointSecurity Agent Service
