Information
The Database backend imposes the size limit on Activity Log.
Following are the size limitations imposed by various database management systems:

| SQL Express Prior to 2008 R2 | 4GB |
| SQL Express 2008 R2 | 10GB |
| Full SQL Server Installation | No Limitation |
It is recommended you enable some database maintenance in the EndPointSecurity console to backup events or delete events older than a specified period.
To configure the backup duration, Navigate to Configuration > Database backend > Database Maintenance.
