On some computers devices connected to USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports are not controlled by the GFI EndPointSecurity agent.TT / JIRAID

- If the device is connected to a USB 3.0 or 2.0 port, it is not controlled by the agent, i.e. it is not be blocked and no events will be generated for the device
- In some cases connecting the same the same device to a USB 2.0 port is controlled by the agent, i.e. it can be blocked and events are generated for itWorkaround / Fix Details
Upgrade to GFI EndPointSecurity 2013 SR1 (build 20130719) for the latest updates.
If upgrade does not resolve the issue and current version is used. Provide the archive including the stability fix “20161007-StabilityCumulativeFixes” from below URL to the customer.

Note:
The stabilitycumulative fix patch is not functional for Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System.Required Actions
- Upgrade to v2013 build 20130719
If the issue is not resolved
- Apply the stability fix archive named “20161007-StabilityCumulativeFixes”
If the issue is not resolved escalate the case providing the following:
1. Troubleshooter files
2. Agent logs
3. Registry export from the agent machine of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum
